Josie has been with West Coast Ecuestre since we started our very first pony rides in 2015. Josie is a 17-year-old, sassy, little Paso Fino mix. She has a comfortable gaited trot, rocking horse canter and perfect manners under the saddle. Josie primarily works our traditional riding club and is a great transition horse for our newest riders as they begin to work off-lead for the first time. Her reliability under saddles gives them lots of confidence. She is great for our younger beginner riders and small adults and is a popular favorite among many of our newer students. Most recently she even took some of our rodeo kids around their first barrels and poles!
