Romeo was found abandoned and emaciated, tied to the end of a rope that was embedded into his back legs. Luckily his rescuer found him in time and took him back to her farm where he was nursed back to the best of health. At 6 years old Romeo was ready to begin some training and it became clear that he had a wonderful personality and disposition suitable for therapy riding. Three years ago West Coast Ecuestre took Romeo in and began his schooling to become the next therapy horse. He has progressed wonderfully and is being used for horsemanship and pony rides for our younger students.
